Isn't she pretty?!?!?!?!

We got him back!!!!!! :)

Okay, so here's the story. Every year for as long as I can remember, Dad has found it humourous wrap one gift for one person about 20 times. And it seems that it has happened to Aaron a lot, so since Aaron found this gift for dad, just from him, we thought it would be great to get dad back for all the years of fun and agony. Dad got Isaiah this year, not Aaron, but hey, Dad got it too. This is a series of photos of each new face of his package, in order. It ended up being a SuperBowl DVD from last year's Steelers season. Enjoy your laugh, this was funny!!.....

Cookies Lessons with Papa

Well, when we were growing up, one of my favorite (of the many) Christmas traditions that we had at our house was making cut-out cookies with Dad, so I asked him if he would be willing to start doing that with Jackson every year. So he said yes and we asked mom to make us some dough for Love Cookies. She said yes and we made the plans. So in this picture dad is showing Jackson how to pat the dough and get ready to roll it (which was always dad's job during this process). The second picture is what Jackson looked like after dad got him with some flour. How cute!! This is poor Aurora waiting patiently to have her turn in the cookie dough and flour mixture. Later in this blog you will see her actually getting her turn. Next is Dad showing Jackson how to put the flour on the rolling pin so that the dough won't stick to it. And then you can see him intently studying dad's work as he rolls out the dough on the table. You can actually see his brain working if you look close enough at he eyes. Next dad explains how the process of the cookies cutters works and after that he lets Jackson have a try. Then you can see them filling the rolled dough with cookie cutters and dad gave Jackson the job of pushing the cutters down into the dough so that they will make the shapes. Okay, next came Aurora's turn to have some fun with Papa. She thought it would be a great deal of fun to eat the flour mixture, I think she will eat anything that is put in front of her. She even ate spinach last week. Yuck!! Okay this last picture is the train cookie that I decorated especially for Jackson, while he was taking his nap. I figured that he did such a good job making cookies with Papa that he deserved to have one just for himself. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Baby Averi Grace

I thought you all would like to see Jeff and Carrie's new baby girl. She was born Tuesday (12/12/06) at 5:14pm. She was 6 pounds 2 ounces, and 19 1/2 inches long. She is tiny with long toes and fingers. I think she is really pretty, you decide for yourself. I just thought that those of us from church would want to see her.

Have a Wonderful Day!!

She's One!

I can't believe that tomorrow at 6:14pm Aurora will be a full year old. Where does the time go? I know I haven't posted in over a month, but let's just say that I've had my hands full. Auri started taking steps a week after she turn 10 months old and has been full on walking since the Sunday after she turned 11 months. And let's just say, she is a little dare-devil, not afraid of anything. She falls and hits her head, and then gets up and keeps going. She doing things a lot faster than Jackson did when he was a baby, she started crawing about 5 days before she turned 8 months and she seems to have not been stoppable since. I am amazed at her. The only thing that she hasn't done before Jackson did at this age is say a lot. The thing is, we all understand what she is saying just by her gestures and the noises that she makes, and Jackson translates a lot. I'm working on getting her to say some things though. She is trying to learn sign language with Esther-Faith, who she calls Ezzy (which is also what I call her). She says names mostly, but we are working on some other words too.
Okay, here are some new pictures of the kids... This is Jackson having tickle time with Daddy and Aunt Kiki on Halloween after all the males in the house came back from trick or treating.

Look how cute she is in Jackson's hat.
She will leave hats on long enough to get a reaction from someone and then she will rip it off. Have I told you how cute my kids are, especially in their buckeye clothes? Well, let me be the first to say it, they are adorable (I guess I'm a little on the biased side). So here they are being cute one Saturday, waiting for the game to start. I love seeing kids enjoy taking their baths. While Jackson still fusses when you put water on his head, he still enjoys his baths and especially with play with Aurora in the water or with Isaac. Well, here are some adorable pictures of All three of them taking a quick bath after getting themselves filthy at dinner time.

Okay, here are the much awaited pictures from Aurora's first birthday party and the cakes that Karin made for her. Karin decorated the rose and I decorated the butterfly. The antlers were a gift from Mimi for her birthday. She's so sweet looking! And again, she kees them on long enough to get a reaction from us and then she pulls them off.

I hope you enjoy these pictures. Have a wonderful day!!

Cousins and More

Ya know, the only thing good about going to funerals , besides celebrating the life of our departed, is the fact that lots of family, who don't see each other often (if ever) get to see each other. Here are some pictures that were taken on my camera, however there were lots of cameras taking pictures so if anyone has any better pictures than mine, please share!! I will do my best to label each one.
This one is all cousins, from left, Michael, me (Kristen), Tim, Sam, Katie, Scott, and Karin (missing is Matthew, Terri-Beth, Libby, Janet, Johana, and Jillian):

This one is the same people as above with their spouse, excluding Michael and Katie because they don't have spouses and me because Aaron had to work and didn't come to New York with us. Front row from left, Tim & Karin Henn, Tim & Jodi Eckman, Sam & Laura Shirey and Scott & Amber Dewey:Here we have the same cousins and their kids. Children front row from left; Esther-Faith, Isaac & Isaiah Henn, Gavin & Taylor Dewey, Back row from left; Aurora and Jackson Deubner (mine).

This is siblings. From left; Susie (mom to me), Wayne, Becky, David, and Karen:

Here is the above photo with spouses (excluding my dad) from left; Dawm & Wayne, Susie, Ron & Becky, David & Lucy, and Karen & Steve:
This is also Siblings. Great-Grandma only had two children, both daughters. Here is Diane (left) and Priscilla and then there they are with their spouses from left; Doug & Diane and Priscilla & Floyd: Now here are some random pictures that I was able to take: First is Gavin and Jackson playing football together. Gavin is about 7 1/2 months older than Jackson. They were so cute together.
Next is a picture of Aunt Karen holding Aurora. She wanted a picture of Auri in the outfit that she gave me for her back in May. It didn't fit her till now, and the pants are still a little long, but she looked cute in it. So I will be sending this picture to Aunt Karen. I hope you have all enjoyed these pictures. I would encourage you to visit Karin's (my sister, not my aunt) blog to see picture she has or will post http://hennhouse.blogspot.com/. Have a wonderful day and enjoy yourself, no matter what it is you may do or be doing!
God Bless, Kristen
