Jackson's Birthday

Well, Jackson turned three on Wednesday. We are waiting till mom get's home from her week of training to have a real birthday party for him, but we were at Dad's house and Karin, Tim. Isaiah, Isaac and Esther-Faith came over so that he could celebrate on his birthday. We made him a duck cake, which he loved a great deal.

The Touch of the Master's Hand...

On Monday, we were hangin out with dad and Auri got fussy. And then she got fussier. Well, apparently she only wanted to hold her Papa! He just rubbed her back and well, you see what happened...Earlier that day she had fallen asleep on the floor and as you can see she loves to have her head on something when she sleeps. I guess she'll like pillows when she is older. On Tuesday night, I went home from Dad's and put Aurora in her bed and Jackson was sitting on his bed waiting for me to read to him. I left the room to go put a load of laundry in and well, when I got back she had pulled herself up and was standing there yelling at Jackson (I think she wanted him to look at her). I was so proud, and everytime she would fall she would get back up again. She did it about four or five times. Of course, I took a video of it, and lots of pictures...

Have a great day!! -Kristen

Hey You Guys!!

Just to let you all know, I haven't written in a week, (well posted pictures really) anyway, my internet has been down for days and then miraculously it is on today. So I have checked my e-mails all one hundred something of them, and deleated my thirteen hundred bulk mail that seems to add up so fast. And now I will get some pictures of my beautiful children and I will post them. Thank you for your patience. I'll be talking to you all soon!!

Look at her go!!

Sam, thanks for your comment on my last blog. I love when you all write me comments, it makes me want to post more. Anyway, this is especially for Sam so you will continue to feel like you aren't missing anything. Aurora has decided that she wants to try crawling. She did good last weekend at Karin's house she actually did move forward on her knees, but I don't think she remembers how she did it because now she just keeps doing push ups and then tries to lunge forward to try and get another excited reaction from whomever is watching. Anyway, here are some pictures of her efforts. I hope you like them! Have a great weekend!!!

Updates

Okay, it's been too long since I've sent you out some pictures. So here you go, first is a picture of Jackson waiting patiently for the fireworks on the 4th of July. The poor kid, we almost got rained out of the parade that morning, and then had a dry day and then we left Aurora at Mimi and Papa's and took him to the fireworks, however after 45 minutes of sprinkles, it started to downpour and then the wind got bad, so we waited in the car until 9:30 when the rain stopped and went to find a spot. These are the first fireworks he has stayed awake for, and he really enjoyed them, and although we were soaked, we had a great time. And then the next day Jackson and Aurora both woke up with hacking coughs and the day after that I was horse (and still am, but I think we are all working on getting better). The next picture is from a wedding that Karin and I make the cake and cookies for. We spent about three days baking and decorating, and it was wonderful. Sure, we had to take breaks to feed babies and taking a potty training almost 3 year old to the bathroom, but for the most part, we just enjoyed working together and I think it was a great success. And of course the typical picture of Jackson and Aurora last night while they were on there way to bed. Jackson always asks to have a hug from he before he goes to sleep so he was snuggling with her last night. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Busy Weekend!

So lots of stuff happened this weekend. First, Aurora spent the night with Mimi and Papa's, then Saturday Jackson and mommy went to the Zoo, the only pictures Jackson wanted was with the penguins. I don't know why, but oh-well. Then we went to Mimi and Papa's to get Aurora, and of course got some pictures of them enjoying each other. Next we dropped Jackson at Kiki and Uncle Tim's to play with Isaac and Isaiah and to make Esther-Faith laugh and as usual he spent the night, then we went and pretended to sing Karoake in our friends' basement, that is always fun. Then Sunday morning I had to be to church early for praise team. After church we picked up Aaron and went to Mimi's to see Sam and Laura who had come to surprise everyone. We spent the whole afternoon there making water balloons and throwing them at each other, and of course the typical water fight with hoses and squirt guns. Then around 8pm we went home and Aaron went to work because he had to clean the front of the store. Whew, that was a busy weekend. And I tell ya, I'm still tired. And I even got Auri to sleep a little later today. Oh yeah, then my friend Marcie stopped to see me this morning on her way from Indianapolis (area) to New York (near Buffalo, but closer to Jamestown). Now that'll be a long drive. Anyway, I just thought I'd share some of the pictures that I got over the weekend. Have a wonderful day everyone and I hope you enjoy!!
